Thinking of you, your family, and friends in this unsettled time
Dear Friend of Orenda Wildlife Land Trust (OWLT),
We are thinking of you, your family, and friends in this unsettled time and sending you wishes for peace, prosperity and, most importantly, good health. In alignment with federal, state and local authorities, we are following social distancing precautions regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) in order to keep volunteers, staff, and Directors safe. Our office is closed until things get better, which we all hope will be sooner than later. In the meantime, we are working remotely to continue protecting more land for wildlife habitat, water/air quality and open space.
We are currently working on two important land protection projects, one in Centerville and the other in Mashpee. Both are promising opportunities and we have strong funding partnerships for each, but Orenda still needs to provide significant funds in order to reach the finish line. In this climate, there is financial stress and uncertainty, however if you can find the means to help, we thank you in advance for your generosity. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 669, West Barnstable, MA 02668.
Stay well in mind and body as we work together to get through this challenging time. There is a green field up ahead where we can meet and rest a while.
Sincerely,
Jeff Thibodeau
Executive Director
