Wish List & Fund the Need Campaign

Dear Friends of Orenda!

Please consider supporting Orenda by donating new or gently used items, funding the need, or sponsoring an initiative!  Check out our Wish List….perhaps you have one of these items sitting in your garage and can send it along with Santa this season.  Or perhaps you can give a cash gift that will enable us to get (buy) one from Santa himself.   If you’d like to earmark your gift for a specific use, please indicate that in your correspondence.

Some of these needs are simple…..like paperclips and glue to keep things together around the office.  Others are related to our Diamondback Turtle Protection Program, which is thriving but requires a significant investment of time, energy and funding to help these resilient reptiles survive and thrive.  We have protective cages to build, new nesting habitat to create, and hatchlings to give a head start.  You can even Adopt a Turtle and name him/her…..you cant take him/her home since these are threatened creatures.  But you CAN  support his/her care, feeding and protection.

We are looking for administrative and outreach help…perhaps you are the perfect volunteer or can help fund hiring someone.

Maybe you can help fund our efforts to develop a curriculum for local schools around conservation related topics or produce outreach materials like videos and fact sheets.
