76 Cheoh Road, Cotuit

76 Cheoh Road, Cotuit, .5 acre – 2018
In July, a half-acre undeveloped lot was donated to Orenda by four neighbors in a Cotuit neighborhood. These folks banded together to purchase the lot that abuts a wetland. It looks like a miniature forest with its vibrant understory of native plants, and canopy of pine and hardwoods. We are grateful to Frances Quinn, Robert Hayden, Lisa Nagel, and Leonard and Georgette Davis for their generosity and vision to safeguard even the smaller plots of land left on Cape Cod.

Directions: Route 6 Eastbound to Exit 2. Bear right onto Route 130 towards Mashpee, south toward Cotuit and New Seabird. Bear right onto Cotuit Road. After 1.5 miles, turn left onto Main Street. After another mile, turn right onto Main Street. Take a slight right turn onto Old Oyster Road, and after a quarter mile keep left onto Old Oyster Road. After half a mile, take a slight right onto Highland Avenue. Left onto School Street. Then turn right onto Piney Road. Left onto Popponessett Road, then turn left onto Jackson Drive. After 500 feet, turn right onto Cheoh Road and the sanctuary is on your right 150 feet later.
