Thoreau’s Cape Cod Readathon

We are so proud to share that our very own Lisa Nagel lent her voice to Barnstable Land Trust’s recent Thoreau’s Cape Cod Readathon during National Book Month at Fuller Farm!

Lisa, who has a background in library programming and has been instrumental in shaping Orenda’s Story Hour series, was one of 54 community readers, who helped narrate Henry David Thoreau’s works over the span of two days. This special event welcomed attendees from across the Cape and beyond in celebration of Thoreau’s iconic work illustrating the natural beauty of Cape Cod.
