Join us for our September Wildlife Walk-and-Talk!

Join us Thursday, September 21, at 5:15 PM for a facilitated educational walk-and-talk, as we discover the natural wonders of scenic Sandy Neck Beach – a haven for many wildlife species!

This program will feature the expertise of West Barnstable resident Dr. Peter Crosson, who has been birding on Cape Cod and beyond for nearly 20 years. Peter will illuminate facts about the bird species that live and thrive upon the ever-shifting sands of Sandy Neck and within Barnstable’s Great Marsh.

Orenda Wildlife Land Trust will discuss the organization’s efforts to protect and promote the nests of Diamondback Terrapins, and our habitat preservation work throughout Cape Cod and Massachusetts.

Bring your questions – we look forward to engaging in this important dialogue with you! Space is limited, so be sure to secure your spot today!

Peter Crosson is a primary care physician and an avid birder. He has been birding for many years, and has led tours for the Cape Cod Bird Club and Mass Audubon, among others. When not searching for rare birds, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, and their mini schnauzer Sara.

We are so grateful to Peter for sharing his time and talent with us!
